I'm Stunned

Published:

I am wondering how Angus King from Maine can represent his people effectively when he is either too lazy or too stupid to understand the issues!

I was flipping through the channels this morning and CNN had King on and King was talking about Trump and Obamacare and King said that he did not see any ideas from Trump other than buying insurance across state lines to which King said "you can already do that".

Well, It's true for the big insider elites who can do just about anything they want but the little people and small business can only buy insurance from within their own insurance districts in their own states!

Unbelievable!

Obamacare was passed in 2010 and King still does not know what's in it!

How can we have effective representation when the  representatives themselves don't know what's going on and don't even understand the laws that their own jurisdictions pass?

I'M STUNNED!

lakerben, get over it and wake the heck up with what needs to be done to turn this country around after your POTUS screwed it up so bad. Your state is hardheaded. They voted for Clinton, I get it. My state voted the other way this time because of the wake up call. Oh, by the way, have you started packing for Canada yet ??

Think, the problem mainly was that Obamacare consisted of so many fricking pages, over 800, that nobody wanted to take the time to analyze what the heck they were voting on, instead they rode on peer pressure to get it passed thru.
Now, in saying that, what Trump plans on proposing will bring back the open market of different health providers which in return will lower premiums.

I believe the thousands of pages was by design. Everyone already knows but READING the BILLS BEFORE voting is THEIR JOB, ALL OF THEIR JOBS.
I am VERY happy Trump has been voted in and truly hope and prays he turns this country around.
