Mega Millions Lottery Pool - Game 28

Today's Quote

There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.

I’m sorry that I did not get a newsletter out Wednesday.  I’ve been sick all week, and just got better yesterday. Today is my only day off, so all the things that were not done during the week, must be done in these 24 hours.

Now, I have done two newsletters already for both my Die Hard Games, and I checked your tickets today.  (There is no good news here.)  I am on my 7th load of laundry.  Four are already put up, two are in the dryer and the last one is in the washer.  (I got up at 4:30 a.m.)

Here are the numbers from last two drawings:

 10/31/2006  5,34,40,45,46  Mega Ball = 21

 11/03/2006  8,10,22,25,55  Mega Ball = 22

I knew we had won nothing on Halloween, but was surprised we won nothing last night.  (I just knew we won something, because I knew we had the Mega Ball 22 – Boy was I wrong.  We did NOT have Mega Ball 22.)

The good news is that no one won the Jack Pot on both day, and now the new Jack Pot amount for this Tuesday is worth $52 Million.  The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $30,534,348.

I get the Cash Value from: www.ohiolottery.com. I take that figure and divide it by 60 (# of Shares).  Here is want you would get before any attorney fees, taxes or tithes:

We have through five drawings and won on the first three drawings.  This is our half way point in the game.

I would not hurt my feelings if we didn’t win until the last draw.  The Cash Option is at $30 Million, and I would like to see the Cash Option at or over $60 Million, so I could give everyone, who purchased one share to have $1 Million.  Okay, so you know my prayers.

This next game is scheduled to open on Friday, November 24th, 2006.  That is the day after Thanksgiving.  I will NOT be at work on Thanksgiving or that Friday (Day after Thanksgiving) or that Saturday.  I’m not even sure about Sunday.

So if you want to play in this next game, you need to have your money to me no later than November 22nd, 2006.  I have decided to buy the tickets on Thanksgiving and get out the newsletter the same day.

For those of you who work at Citi, you only have 1 more paycheck to get in on the next game:  November 15th, 2006.

I think that I told you that I was having problems getting my mail and my new Post Office Box, that problem has been fixed.  I am still missing a check from Mary Stewart, but I’m not certain which Post Office she mailed it to, and I think both Juanita and Grant has mailed checks also, but I did not pick up mail this week (remember I had been sick, and it was all I could do to get to work.)

Now when I leave the house today, I plan on swinging by the Post Office, so I will e-mail everyone who send me money, let you know that I have it, if I get it.  And the membership list will be updated for the next update.

I need to tell you about two things:  1) Many of you know that I run Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool.  That game is played a little differently than Mega.  In it we play Cash Five, Texas Two-Step, Lotto Texas, Mega Million and Powerball.  Tonight Game IX has their last drawing in PowerBall and if they win nothing, the game will close.  Game X will not end until later this month.

You know in this game, you can play one game, then not in the next game.  Each game is separated from the other.  In Die Hard, I don’t start a new game each month.  The same members pay their $10.00 by the end of the month. As long as everyone pays, the game remains closed and we keep playing.  I just use their dues to buy them more tickets.

This game has always been small, because getting any number of people who want to give you $120 a year, is hard.  But, I always let people know when I have openings.

Right now Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool – Game X has 13 members and most of their tickets are expiring this week.  (Expect for PowerBall). I have three members who have not paid, and I know for certain two of those three will pay me.  I have accepted my mother in this next game; she also plays in Mega Million Lottery Pool, too.

Now if you want to play in Die Hard, remember you have to pay $10.00 every month and it’s due by the last day of the month.  (If someone doesn’t pay, then and only then, do I start a new edition of Die Hard.

If you should want to play in another pool of mine, you’re welcome.  This is your official noticed that I have openings.  But, you will need to pay $10.00 for the Oct Dues, and pay $10.00 for November dues.  Here is why:  I already have 11 members who have paid their dues for October, and that money will be used in Game XI.

Game X will have two Power Ball tickets that expire on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  I will have no time to start a new game after that Saturday, because I work Sunday thru Thursday (normally).  So I will launch Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool on Thanksgiving 2006.  (This is the same day I start the New Mega Million Game.)

2) I have two members ask me why I don’t have a Lotto Texas Lottery Pool.  Well, I haven’t started one because the Lotto Texas doesn’t ever get that big.  “Well, wouldn’t it be easier to win?” was one question I was asked.

Okay I had to laugh at that one, because guys and gals, there is NO Lottery easy to win.  Let me tell you a story:

Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool 1st Group

Formed on Christmas Eve December 24th, 2004 – Game ended on Sunday March 22nd, 2005

Before I had the game you see above, Mary Stewart asks why I didn’t do a small pool for Texas Two-Step.  So, I started one and everyone paid $5.00.  So we played and we won nothing.  But, it did give me the idea to start Die Hard, so was formed on Christmas Day 2004.

Now every time I start a pool, I make a predication that it will fizzle out.  I have been wrong every time, they only get bigger.  Mega is starting on her 31st month, and Die Hard is going on two years old.  So I had to think and pray about starting a third Lotto Pool.

Die Hard plays all the Texas Games, and we do good in Cash Five and we have done well enough in Texas Two-Step, we have won several times in Mega Million, and believe it or not we have won more times in Power Ball.  But, God as my witness, we have never won a dime in Lotto Texas!  Not one dime.

Now to be honest, I seldom buy more than one or two lines.  There was one time in Die Hard where someone had won both Mega and Power Ball, and Lotto Texas was the highest in the nation, so I pour money into Lotto Texas.  No we won nothing.

The pay out on Lotto Texas is not good:

Since, I don’t have a life, I seldom go out to eat or go to the movies, I thought “What the hell, I will do it if there is interest in the game.”

So I’m prepared to launch the 1st edition of Lotto Texas Lottery Pool.  I will start this game on Thanksgiving and it will be run identical to my existing Mega Million club.  I will buy 10 draw tickets, and each game will last one month.

If I had a club today, the Jack Pot is at $15 Million.  The Cash Option is at $9 Million.  If I had 10 members playing we each would get $900,000.00.

Someone generally wins this at $32 to $36 Million.  Lotto Texas no longer has a bonus ball, and Jack Pots start at $4 Million.  They usually go up $1 Million after every drawing.

If you would like to be in the 1st Edition of Lotto Texas, just give me $10 by 11/22/2006.  Remember all my games are separate from each other and all on voluntary and optional, you don’t have feel obligated to play in any of my games.

I just wanted to give you a full disclosure as to what I’m playing.  I don’t want you reading somewhere where I won the Lotto Texas in a group and you say to me, “If you had told me, I would have played.”  You’ve been told.

Now if you one of those people who have money with me on future games (and some of you pay in really far in advance) you can, if you desire to move some of you cash to this new game, Lotto Texas Lottery Pool.

Just give me advance notice, before buying the tickets.

Undercover Clergy

A minister, a priest and a rabbi went for a hike one day. It was very hot. They were sweating and exhausted when they came upon a small lake. Since it was fairly secluded, they took off all their clothes and jumped in the water.

Feeling refreshed, the trio decided to pick a few berries while enjoying their "freedom." As they were crossing an open area, who should come along but a group of ladies from town. Unable to get to their clothes in time, the minister and the priest covered their privates and the rabbi covered his face while they ran for cover.

After the ladies had left and the men got their clothes back on, the minister and the priest asked the rabbi why he covered his face rather than his privates. The rabbi replied, "I don't know about you, but in MY congregation, it's my face they would recognize."

Please everyone have a good week!
