Mega Million Lottery Pool - Game 28 Update 8th

Quote of the Day | |

I awoke early this morning and came to the computer. I knew someone had won, and I’m not sure why I knew. I thought, “Okay someone in Ohio or California won this last night.”
I was right, some did win it, but not in either of those states. I copied this from the official site of Mega Million: www.millionmega.com:
ONE MEGA MILLIONS TICKET WINS ESTIMATED $75 MILLION JACKPOT; Ticket Sold In Michigan Matches All Six Numbers To Win
One ticket matched all six Mega Millions numbers in the Tuesday, November 14, 2006 drawing, and now players are checking their tickets to see who won the estimated $75 million jackpot. The jackpot-winning ticket, which was purchased in Canton, Michigan, matched the numbers 9-20-24-25-36 and the Mega Ball number 23.
But that certainly wasn’t the only winner in Tuesday’s drawing. A total of 563,911 tickets won Mega Millions prizes. Here is the complete breakdown of prizes:
1 ticket matched all 6 numbers for the JACKPOT!
6 tickets matched 5 numbers for $250,000
30 tickets matched 4 numbers + the Mega Ball for $10,000
1,468 tickets matched 4 numbers for $150
1,637 tickets matched 3 numbers + the Mega Ball for $150
27,183 tickets matched 2 numbers + the Mega Ball for $10
78,468 tickets matched 3 numbers for $7
161,076 tickets matched 1 number + the Mega Ball for $3
294,042 tickets matched the Mega Ball for $2
Six tickets came within just one number of winning it all. Each of them matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in California, Massachusetts, New York (2), Ohio, and Virginia.
The jackpot for the Friday, November 17, 2006 Mega Millions drawing is $12 million.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.

We did not win anything last night. Nothing. The said thing is I had the bonus ball 23 twice, but those tickets expired on Saturday and I opted NOT to repurchase them.
You still have $39 in the bank.
The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $7,138,608.00. I get the Cash Value from: www.ohiolottery.com. I take that figure and divide it by 60 (# of Shares). Here is want you would get before any attorney fees, taxes or tithes:
Number so Shares Purchased | Amount you Could Win |
.5 | $ 59,488.40 |
1 | $ 118,976.80 |
1.5 | $ 178,465.20 |
2 | $ 237,953.60 |
We have only two drawings left in this game. However anything you win on Friday and/or next Tuesday, I will buy more tickets and expend your game.
However, I have new people and some rejoins playing in Game 29, so I will NOT be able to delay that game.
This next game is scheduled to open on Friday, November 24th, 2006. That is the day after Thanksgiving. I will NOT be at work on Thanksgiving or that Friday (Day after Thanksgiving) or that Saturday.
I plan to start buying tickets on Wednesday November 22, 2006. So if you want to play in this next game, you need to have your money to me no later than November 22nd, 2006. I hope to get out the newsletter on Thanksgiving. If not, it will be the morning of Friday, November 22nd, 2006.
For those of you who work at Citi, you only have 1 more paycheck to get in on the next game: November 15th, 2006. And that is today, so be sure to get me your money if you want to play in the next game.
I am not printing the next membership list, because I did have a whole lot of activity and didn’t have time to update the newsletter for this update. But, I did want to deliver the bad news.
