If it could have when wrong today, it did go wrong.  I got up and was surprised to find that we had 09 as one of our Mega Balls.  The Megaplier was 4 so I knew we had won $8.00. 

So I added $8.00 with the $48 in our bank and figured that I had to spend $56 in tickets.  I figure and figure, and came up with four numbers for 7 draws.  That ticket would have cost up $56.00 by megapling it.

The Kiosk was broken, so I had to go to the clerk at the Service Counter.  I was shocked to discover that we had won $16.00 – Not $8.00.  So all my figuring went down the drain.

As I said the Megaplier was 4, so we won $16.00.  You had $48 in your bank, so now you have $64.

So I tried to figure out how to spend all you winnings with multi-draw tickets.  I’m not good with math at 9:45 a.m. standing at a counter at Kroger.  So I thought, “Hell with it, I will I just get 3 numbers for 10 draws and leave $4.00 in the bank.”

I really didn’t want to extend this game as long as my new game, but there is little choice now.

This game is now extended until Tuesday December 26^th, 2006.

That is not the end of it.  I accidentally forgot to check the Megaply box so my first ticket was only $30, not $60.00.

I told the clerk I would buy the $30 ticket myself, and checked the box for megaply and had her rerun it. 

I didn’t need nor want another Mega Millions ticket.  I only buy the 26 annual installments for myself.  The ticket I was forced to buy was a Cash Option.

Then I realized that my Die Hard game would need Mega Tickets, so sold the Cash Option $30.00 ticket to them.

Oh it gets worse.  I realized that I have spend so much money in PowerBall tickets for my Die Hard people that they may only open with 3 Mega tickets and PowerBall tickets.  (Okay, I will not bore you with this story; I will save it for my PowerBall members)

 After I get home this evening, I planned on typing this newsletter, answering some e-mail and then getting up early to go out and purchase Game 29 tickets tomorrow.  I have made no plans for Thanksgiving, because this is an all day project.

I got to scan both my tickets and our printer is not scanning.  I find that Adobe 7.0 has high jacked our printer.  Anything you want to do with scanner must go through Adobe.

When I scanned the tickets it would not save them as jpg, but in something I had never seen before.

I have tried to save this to any other format but it doesn’t work.

So for this round those of you who get this via e-mail will not get copies of your tickets.  (This will NOT affect those of you who get paper copies.)

The Hikers

One day, Joe, Bob and Dave were hiking in a wilderness area when they came upon a large, raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea of how to do so.

Poof! God turned him into a woman. She looked at the map, hiked upstream a couple of hundred yards, and then walked across the bridge.
