Today's Quote

Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.

-Maxim Gorky

This is the first time in a very long time that we have not won something on our first draw.

We won nothing in Friday Night’s draw.  Zero Dollars!

That might be a good sign.  I would just a soon tell you that we won the Jack Pot than to tell you we won $4.00.

Now the majority of you belong to Mega Million Lottery Pool Game 28.  I just did their update, so yes, I know you are being inundated with e-mails from me. And I’m sorry, but look how many tickets you have if you belong to both games.

Believe it not there are people who belong to Die Hard, Lotto Texas, and Mega – Just think of the e-mails the get from me!

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 is: $31 million ($18 million cash option)

I get my Cash Option from www.ohiolottery.com.  They tend to have the most accurate.  The Cash Option for Tuesday’s drawing is:

$18,375,808

This game has 51 members, but I sold 64 shares ($640.00 in tickets) so I will divide Cash Option by 64 to get our payout.  Please remember this figure is before any attorney fees, taxes or tithes.

Believe it or not I a record number of people who purchased 2 shares this month.  I only had two people do ½ shares.  Calvin, a friend for work gave me $20.00 as a birthday gift to pay my share in the lottery pool.  I had already purchased two shares, but opted to go ahead and use his money now.  Now if we win, I will be delighted that I spend $45 in one month for this pool.

My birthday was Monday November 20th, 2006, I turned 52.  Everyone tells me that I don’t look 52, which I am grateful.  But, I’m here to tell you that I feel 52.

Now, I want to apologize for my last newsletter.  I hurriedly through it together and was tired when I did it.  I was worried sick as to how to get your tickets to you, since my scanner was not working.  Well many of you know in Die Hard, Lotto Texas, and Mega Game 28 know I got it working.  So with this newsletter you will get your tickets.

But before I do anything else, remember I told you that one of our members, Jorge Flores, had a little girl?  I had left the important data at work and couldn’t remember.  But, it’s Sunday, and I went to work today, so here we go:

Alaina Flores is the daughter of Jorge Flores.  She was born November 7th, 2006 at 9:57 a.m.  She weight 6 lbs and 07 oz.  This makes her a Scorpio/Dog.  She was born in Scorpio Sun Sign, and this is the year of the Dog (Chinese).

If this group wins, I can say I created a Trust Fund Baby.  I gave Jorge this as Baby Gift.  Congratulations on the birth of your new daughter.

I feel better about this newsletter; it looks and feels like I normally do newsletters.  Remember Game 28 is playing as long as you, they have 3 numbers good for as long as you have tickets.

Your tickets are attached to this e-mail or included if you get printed copies.

A Rare Book

A collector of rare books ran into an acquaintance who told him he had just thrown away an old Bible that he found in a dusty, old box. He happened to mention that Guten-somebody-or-other had printed it.

"Not Gutenberg?" Gasped the collector.

"Yes, that was it!"

"You idiot! You've thrown away one of the first books ever printed. A copy recently sold at an auction for half a million dollars!"

"Oh, I don't think this book would have been worth anything close to that much," replied the man. "It was scribbled all over in the margins by some guy named Martin Luther."
