A couple of yrs. ago someone in here said Texas would be blue by this time, starting with the new Gov. Wendy Davis. Uh huh, right.

That said, it's turning more blue than most of we Texans would like, what with the mass exodus of Californians coming to work here and bringing their failed politics with them.   Thankfully, the county where I live now voted about 86% for Trump and the county where I was raised was called the most pro-Trump county in America w/ 96.3% of the voters casting their ballot for Trump. As long as the Republicans can hold onto both houses and keep their gerrymandering tactics to limit the Democrat's power and not let the Democrats gerrymander conservative districts to spread out over half of Texas, we'll be fine...for now.

Those Californians are also coming to Wa State too. Seattle and surrounding areas are making it the new Silicon Valley for geeks and techies. Silicon Valley is so very overpriced, people cant afford to live there. So they come to Seattle where like minded Democraps are already running this state.
They are the only ones that can afford the multi million dollar homes on the water, not the lawyers and doctors of years ago. Unfortunately the conservative eastern part of the state doesn't stand a chance.
