Live right in the path of the total eclipse and there were clouds with a break here and there just as the eclipse started. Clouds filled in and blocked out the sun with the moon passing over. Only got to see it get darker as the total occurred. Got dark for a minute or so and started to lighten back to daylight.

Had a sprinkle of rain with a thunderstorm and lightning in the distance.

Did get to let out a couple wolf howls when the total eclipse occurred. 

Once in my lifetime event which I will never see again.
