Looks like a decision between higher nitrogen at the start of the pepper plant development or a balanced formula.

Has a recipe in this article on how to make a magnesium spray. I had the blossoms drop on my pepper plants last fall. They budded out and dropped off. Probably need to check the ferlizer I am using for magnesium content.
