Just like an hourly wage worker. Wages go up so slow it is disgusting. But wages do go down in some trades depending on who is willing to work for less which kills it for others who have been in the trade for any length of time.
There is no guarantee in the stock market.

Aye, there no guarantee in any field of speculation and all require risk takers who are not faint of heart. Requires training one self in the art of unpredictability.
