I think the more fruit a plant has I need to maintain enough ferlizer nutrients to feed the extra plant growth and extra fruit.

I remember back on the farm my father use to grow tomatoes by the acre and he never pruned his plants.

Looks like I will not be pruning my tomatoes next time. Planting only one or two plants for my container gardening I would like to get as much fruit as possible per container.
