Ready for President Trump in 2020 ?

The big problem on my side of the aisle these days is that so many people hate Trump so much that they cannot acknowledge his strengths among voters and simply cannot believe he could possibly win. And in this, they are sadly wrong. Not only could Trump win; he probably will if Democrats remain locked in a state of denial. Trump has at least three big advantages.
First and foremost, it’s the economy, stupid, as it always is. We are at full employment economy. The market keeps climbing. Sure, the rich are getting richer, and that offends liberal sensitivities, but working -- even if you are not getting rich -- is better than not working. When the economy slumps, the incumbent gets blamed; when the economy is strong, the incumbent wins. For better or for worse, that is basically how things work.
Second, as my father used to say at the track, you can’t beat a horse with no horse. Right now, if you get three Democrats together, they will have at least two, and potentially three, different candidates. And even so, as if to acknowledge the problems, they will still be asking where the next Bill Clinton or Barack Obama is. We didn’t know about them in advance, did we? We did. Former President Clinton was the boy wonder of the Democratic Party, the youngest governor in the country. Former President Obama stole the Democratic National Convention with his amazing keynote when he was an Illinois state senator. And Clinton, who ran as a moderate, would have a much more difficult time winning the nomination today than he did in the wake of three straight Democratic losses. That’s because, excepting 1992, primaries and caucuses on the Democratic side almost always tilt liberal, which is how Sen. Bernie Sanders came so close to beating Hillary Clinton, and which is why Sen. Elizabeth Warren would be such a strong primary candidate. The primary process is also grueling, a miserable marathon, we called it on bad days, which is why some Democrats worry that Joe Biden, a great vice presidential candidate who might have even beaten Trump the first time, might not get to the finals this time; not only will beating Trump be more difficult but marathons, at least in the past, were not his strong suit.
That brings me to the third reason, which my friends just hate. I’m sorry, Donald Trump may be many things, but he is not stupid. He is not in over his head; he’s been swimming along just fine. He is shrewd. You don’t get to be president without being shrewd. Blame former FBI Director James Comey, but Trump took some hard hits, too. Looking forward, you might try to convince yourself that the problem was Hillary Clinton, that she lost. I don’t see it that way. Clinton fought hard. Trump won. And he could do it again.

However, Trump had to first overcome the odds for nomination, and additionally, all the opposing might of a the mainstream media
Maybe an invisible the Higher Hand of 'manifest destiny is at work here - be careful, cause, against this chance, the odds will betray you again!
"You betcha!"
And amber, yet again, please explain just why Trump should go to prison. All I've heard from you is childish and vulgar insults and only crickets on how Trump will be impeached.
Calm down, take a deep breath and use your words.
And it's not just a collusion, based on the events so far it looks like he's done some illegal activities which will be shown soon by Mueller and his team. And that's the key to the whole thing, it's a waiting game and either Mueller will have something or he won't oh, it's that simple.
Bottom line, it boggles my mind that that can be so much hate for Hillary that you would actually vote for this Nazi loving racist bigot hypocrite. I just don't understand how the hatred can be that strong. Nothing came out of the FBI investigation in the Benghazi case so you guys keep drumming up the same old BS like it's the latest news. When somebody on your side goes Rogue, you instantly turn your back on them and say all he belongs out of the swamp blah blah blah he's a traitor.
And the collusion part will show its face. If not directly, in my opinion and directly so to speak like the preponderance of the evidence, meaning even though you don't have actual proof, all signs point to the guilty side. Courts use this all the time as a final judgment by the judge or a jury. There's just way too much information that your side is not up to par with because you don't watch MSNBC because they according to you or misleading and fake so you get all your information from all the right-wing side which twist the truth. Almost on a daily basis MSNBC and 99% of the time they're correct when they show Trump lying constant constantly. Yeah you people just look the other way it makes no sense to me.
I'm not saying the Democrats are angels believe me but at least they care for the middle class the poor people who are really trying to come to this country from other countries because their world is so disrupted with gangs and murder and everything else. The Republicans don't give two s**** about anybody except themselves and their cohorts especially the rich Coho cohorts.
It was a guy here on the blogs few weeks ago named Sarge. He and Kat0.. at one point in the discussion, Sarge brought up some actual links to prove I'm wrong but he decided not to read them meaning Calo decided not to. His response was, I don't have time for this tit and tat LOL strange because he has all the time in the world for a kitten cat almost 20 hours a day on lotterypost following people around on the blogs just to provoke a debate and an argument when in fact I never even mention his name unless it was a response to what he was saying about me never the last, if I made a comment without his name you would still follow me around just to instigate. So basically I responded by saying, you don't like facts because he showed you links to prove his points yet you decided to throwing a little deviation bomb so to speak LOL I mean I can go on for five days on this blog about the shenanigans that goes on.
You're correct about my childish behavior, but most of the time I have to go down to their level so they can understand what I'm talking about. You know I can spend 77 hours here right now and write about all the BS that goes on and it would only feel one third of the load. The only reason I took the time to even write or autocorrect this into my phone is because I like you. You seem like a very middle of the ground and reasonable type of person who is spiritually gifted. If you are any of the other people on this side that instigate, I would have told him to go you know where.

"...Mueller has information that is not privy to the rest of us based on the progression of events since his inauguration."
Uh, you sure about that? If we are not privy to the information, how can you be so sure he has it?
"Bottom line, it boggles my mind that that can be so much hate for Hillary that you would actually vote for this Nazi loving racist bigot hypocrite. I just don't understand how the hatred can be that strong."
Honestly, reading that boggles MY mind. Can you not see the cognitive dissonance?
"If not directly, in my opinion and directly so to speak like the preponderance of the evidence, meaning even though you don't have actual proof, all signs point to the guilty side."
Huh? That had me standing on my head in front of my monitor trying to make heads/tails of it. Uh, you DO know it takes "actual proof" to convict someone, don't you? Well, it's supposed to, anyway. Thank goodness it takes more than 12 jurors to impeach a sitting President. (From my calculations, it will take at least a 20 seat pickup for the Dems in the House to impeach and even then, I doubt the Senate would convict. We shall see. Personally, if Trump is convicted, I'd love to see some extreme civil disobedience...you know, like BLM, Occupy Wall Street, ANTIFA, etc....but the right doesn't roll that way. Contrary to ignorant-azz belief, we are NOT Fascists)
"...because you don't watch MSNBC because they according to you or misleading and fake so you get all your information from all the right-wing side which twist the truth."
No, I don't watch MSNBC...because they actually ARE misleading and fake. Need examples? Better yet, you go Google them yourself, I don't want you to think I'm cherry picking links. If you need me to supply the search terms, I will, but I suspect you are smart enough to do it on your own
I also don't get "all my information" from "the right wing side". I don't watch TV, so I get my news online (or to a lesser extent, actual radio news programs - not Rush, Levine, Hannity, etc.), but I am smart enough to know by the first paragraph if it's slanted or the writer is trying to insert their own agenda. (I will admit I do watch a few Fox videos on YouTube from time-to-time, but to be fair, they're often slanted at times...but they're also often correct in their take on the subject) I read all the Bing news headlines every day and if a subject interests me, then I click on the topic and peruse the articles. I ignore those who obviously try to shape the narrative. I majored in Journalism in college, so I can recognize what's actual news and what isn't.
"Almost on a daily basis MSNBC and 99% of the time they're correct when they show Trump lying constant constantly."
Uh, no. Just that, no. Go back and re-read my last paragraph. Why was it when Obama lied, you didn't call him out for it? (I could give a hundred examples, but again...if you're honest...you'll go look them up yourself) Yes, Trump has said things that weren't true, but that was bombastic hyperbole. I forget what blog post it was in, but just a few days ago I gave some examples of that. Sure, I'm being magnanimous towards him, but I call it "false braggidocio" instead of "lies". LMAO
Hillary lied all the time, but what did we hear from your side? Nothing! Crickets! News Flash: Poltiicians lie.
"I'm not saying the Democrats are angels believe me but at least they care for the middle class the poor people who are really trying to come to this country from other countries.
Nope, the Dems aren't angels, more like Demons (or "Demoncrats" as some say.) The difference, at least for me, between the two parties is that at least the Republicans kick their crooks out of office and drum them out of the party. Democrats re-elect theirs, revere some of them. (cough - Teddy Kennedy - cough)
You think the Dems actually care for the middle class? Good grief, man...Hillary said it all, "baskets of deplorables" and Obama punctuated that sentiment with "bitter clingers". (Again, dozens more examples, that's just a couple of the most egriegious ones on how the Dems feel about the middle class...at least the conservative middle class.)
We let in thousands and thousands of "the poor people" every year, but if you don't see something wrong with having open borders, then we're not just on opposite sides of the issue, we are mortal enemies. "A nation without borders is no nation at all." - Ron Paul Every other nation on this Earth tries to control their borders, yet you don't want us to do the same? That's not compassionate, that's sheer lunacy!!!
We need to sandblast that "Give us your tired, your poor..." Emma Lazarus poem off the base of the Statue of Liberty and change it to "Give us your smart, your industrious, not the ones who want to milk the system, not the criminals, not the ones who will refuse to embrace the best of American idealism, only wanting to cling to the worst of their former culture from whence they came."
Face it, we (meaning the right/conservatives) can plainly see why you want to open up the floodgates of illegal immigrants into this country...it's for votes, plain and simple. Talk about collusion, both you and the legacy media are in cahoots trying to not only influence election with allowing illegals to vote, you want to fundamentally change this country by doing so!
If you had to pin me down on the single most important issue for me, the most dangerous threat to our country, it's illegal immigration.
But this...THIS part is just so wrong: "....because their world is so disrupted with gangs and murder and everything else."
Well, they should stay and fight for their OWN country, then! Mexico could be a paradise and one of the wealthiest countries on Earth if they'd just sweep around their own door. The trouble with your statement is that many of those "poor immigrants" (my quote, not yours, but...it seems like you're saying that!) ARE gang members and haven't you read about illegals committing murder here?
I used to think you couldn't blame someone for crossing the border illegally in order to make a better life for their family, but my compassion has run out, esp. since illegal immigration has adversely affected my own life, my own neighborhood. Now I think if we catch an illegal, deport them immediately, or better yet, take a branding iron, burn a big "IA" on their foreheads, make it a lot easier to spot if they try to do it again.
Also, the Constitution doesn't allow for "anchor babies", that's Congress's doing. The Dems want the votes, the Republicans want the cheap labor.
"....is because I like you. You seem like a very middle of the ground and reasonable type of person who is spiritually gifted."
Oh, pu-leaze!!! You can BS your friends and I'll BS mine, but let's not BS each other. I don't believe you, think it's false flattery. You want the truth? I despise you and some of your like-minded pals in here, think you're not only wrong, but bordering on treasonous. I still say...and always will...that people who say the current President "...is not my President" are voluntarily giving up their citizenship and should be deported to the country of their choosing, if not back to their original one.
I'm not reasonable; I've had decades to shape my own personal politicial philosophy and sincerely believe it's not just the best for ME, but for the country. I'm definitely not "middle of the ground" (or road, I
So, mea culpa...I made some typos and misspellings. (Thankfully, my spell checker always catches "misspelling". LOL) Also, for some reason (probably too long) the last of my post was chopped off: Here it is:
I'm not reasonable; I've had decades to shape my own personal politicial philosophy and sincerely believe it's not just the best for ME, but for the country. I'm definitely not "middle of the ground" (or road, I think you meant) There's no room for us to meet in the middle, give you leftists an inch and you take a mile. I'm a little to the right of Atilla the Hun on some issues, but am a classical liberal on others, but that doesn't put me in the middle.
Spiritual? I dunno. I'm not religious, but I do believe the Bible has some important teachings and guidelines to follow for a spiritual life, even that for someone like me. For example, in regards to the "middle of the ground" comment, I would refer you to Revelation 3:16:
"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
So no, no middle ground for me. I'm not only on "the right side" of the issues, I'm on the right (correct) side.
By the way I read your response and it was hilarious. You're just like the rest of them, I don't know what I was thinking you're right you are just as retarded as the right-wing losers on the side and everywhere else
Frankly, even though I'm an agnostic (an optimistic one, I like to say), I find your insulting "sky daddy" remarks offensive. I'd rather stand on the side of the Bible Thumpers than I would that of hateful atheists such as yourself. I bet you weren't raised as an atheist (Hindu?) but I'm sure you've just latched onto it because you and other leftists think it's the "hip" thing to rage against the Heavens.
Even being an agnostic, I find it telling that this country declines in morals and basic human decency in direct proportion to those American citizens who identify as Christian. Just sayin', that's all.
And there you go again with the "retarded" remarks. I happen to have grown up around several guys with Downs and they were more honest, certainly more lovable than you...not to mention smarter. I'd say YOU are the one with a mental disability, esp. seeing how much of a leftist you are.
You know, some of your leftist pals in here claim to be Christian, why don't you berate them for that? Would you put THEM in a padded cell somewhere?
*Which can be argued by crime statistics, but is certainly verifiable by observing society, even reading comments in forums and on message boards.
