TODAY is Constitution Day to commemorate the development and signing of our country's most important document , which for more than 230 years has stood as both the plan for the American system of government and a summary of political principals of generations of Americans

Our beloved Constitution of the United States was compleated and signed bu a majority of delegates attending the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia
*The only State delegation to have perfect atten
dance recons at the Constitutional Convention was South Carolina.
*The freedom of religion provision fueled the most discussion during the debates of the first congress which, in essence, the provision was intended to protect religious practice from government interference; thus separation of church and state.
*Founding fathers:
"I"t's not tyranny we desire; it's a Just, Limited, Federal government."

~Thomas Jefferson also similarly advocated for a small government that would essentially get out of the way of private lives and free enterprise.
