Container garden
Published:
Transplanted four blue viola plants in a wooden container around the edge and transplanted one yellow pansy in the center. Transplanted the rest of the yellow pansy in the 2 1/2 gallon pails with one plant in each.
I had also purchased a container of Swiss chard plants having five plants in the container. Put four plants in my elevated 3 x 3 foot box and 1 plant in a 2 1/2 gallon pail. They were difficult to separate from each other with the roots intertwined together. Was not much root left but the plants are still alive after being transplanted a couple days.
The squash and tomato plants looks like they will not produce. Maybe find some other fall crop to put in those wooden containers.
