Going to store

And gamble 745 st/bx. 708 st/bx

While I am out I will stop at the Dollar Store and pick up a small tube of two part epoxy. Have a handle on an electric fry pan that snapped on one side next to where it screws into the pan. Has been broken for I do not know how long. The electric fry pan is vintage and can not get a replacement part. Probably from the 70s era. Still works great.

Two part epoxy stronger then steel, it will do the job be sure to rough up the contact surfaces with emery cloth or a fine file it will provide a better tooth.

In the 70's one summer day mi ole shabang blew a pin hole in the radiator during a holiday weekend- no auto service available - mixed the epoxy and applied into and on pin hole, sealed it right up fine under pressure etc.. I had mixed a small amount of the epox in a bottle cap, put the cap down on a ledge of a street lamp. 10 years later happened to be on the same street and I couldn't knock it off with a base ball bat-
fastest and cheapest auto repair in my life :-)

Good Luck with your repair!

Yep, The break was not a clean break as it was raggedy on both sides of the broken surface. Took a wire brush the size of a tooth brush and cleaned the surface.
