ANikita Khrushchev's words of 'wisdom'? Sounds like most of the Democratic Candidates running for President. Watch out America!

Hey, think about it.....

And: Here we are now!
Norman Mattoon Thomas (Presidential candidate; 1956-64)
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform”, or are they really the same?

While I'm not old enough to have heard him actually say it, he also said "We will bury you." Many Americans at the time thought he meant it as a nuclear threat, but the translation was more in line with "We will outlast you."

Of course, he was wrong, at least insofar as the old Soviet style of communism is concerned, but it's nearly like a zombie, come back from the dead, having been breathed life into by the likes of AOC and "The Bern".   Thankfully, the number of Americans who want socialism is only about 10% and that low number consists of young deluded idiots like Cortez and and the older deluded idiots like Sanders.

Maybe we should take a page from the Commie handbook and sentence them to hard labor in a re-education camp? <grin>

mikeintexas,

That's what I was thinking, "we will bury you"......I'm old enough to remember him saying it, pounding his shoe on something as he did.

I believe he was in the UN addressing the General Assembly.
