Where are the Butterfly's?
Published:
I remember as a kid growing in the suburbs of NYC in Queens, I used to see butterflies all over the place. All different colors, so beautiful to watch in the summer. Waking up early to go outside to watch them and catch them and awe at them. I moved upstate in my adult years, and noticed there weren't many there. I found that strange. I havent seen a butterfly in decades!
Fast forward about 50 years from my childhood back in my hometown in NYC, I saw 3 butterflies the other day. A blue one, an orange one and a white one. It made my heart sing, like the way it made me feel when I was a kid seeing them. I watched them in awe as I did as a child, fluttering around until they fluttered away into the sunset.
Seeing those butterflies made me think, there is always hope to see something so simple and beautiful. It reminds me to never give up hope on your dreams. While your hopes may be stored away deeply, there's always a sign, that dreams are not forgotten. Seeing those butterflies is my sign of the butterfly effect, that a simple flap of their wings, will make a change for something big. Just hold out and never give up hope

Nice, short but colorful visual essay, Bluegal, thanks
The butter fly never speaks to the lowly worm, once it has transformed to the higher level.
Remember seeing many flying colors in Brooklyn, as a kid also :-)
You could do research and find out what butterflies eat. The type of bush they love. etc..
The same can be done with birds, fish, any animal. Food is an excellent magnet to attract life.
