I just saw this on the news...can't get over it...I eat regular salad but know some friends who eat this kind.

Guess I'd better show them this video!

I saw that earlier on Bing while collecting my daily points and in one of the many coincidences that happen frequently to me, I had JUST been reading about growing microgreens after seeing a YT video about harvesting them in my recommendations. (I've looked at several over the last few yrs.)

The reason being is that it seems like once/month there's a new recall of bagged salad or even fresh heads of lettuce that's usually tainted with e coli. (poop, IOW)   I think I'd rather have a frog in my salad than a farm worker's feces.

Many times this is just a hoax or someone thinking about a quick settlement, but I have a feeling this isn't. If the lettuce (looks like baby spinach leaves to me) was harvested with a larger model mechanical harvester, I could see the thing being scooped up w/ the leaves, but most organic farms are fairly small scale ones and the clamshells packed by hand. You'd think someone would have noticed, but then again, the poor little froggy might have been buried under leaves and scooped up w/ a handful of the salad greens.

The woman should have pulled it out of the pkg. and kissed it; ya never know, it might have turned into a prince. At worst she'd just gotten a wart on her lips.

They said that they don't put pesticides on anything they grow organic and that could be why
the frog was in there.
