How Do YOU Spell "Alabama"?

CNN spells it M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I

Let's give 'em an "A" for Spelling but an "F" in Geography.

What gets me is that CNN is headquartered in Atlanta GA, just one state over. How can we expect them to accurately report on the world news when they don't get it right about their own region of the country?

I remember when CNN first hit cable in 1980; it was great, news available 24/7. I don't remember much if any criticism until their first Gulf war coverage, then they had some controversies. They really toppled over the edge during G.W. Bush's tenure in office and it was shameless how they became fawning cheerleaders for Obama.

Yep, nothing but fake news now.

CARBOB, Cuomo went to Yale? I thought he attended Guido U. <grin> Why he was not fired for his violent outburst is beyond me.

I dunno, MADDOG, but it's one thing for a typo, yet another altogether to make such an egregious error. If the graphic was made by some unpaid intern (a distinct possibility since I've read CNN is losing money hand-over-fist and is probably having to resort to unpaid labor) then it's understandable, but it if was labeled by some "accredited" journalist then it makes me wonder how they ever got their degree. At the very least isn't there some editor that proofs this stuff before they go on the air with it?
