I was on Bing earlier and saw the story in my news module which leads to search results for the subject. The top four/five stories had "barely won" or "squeaked by" in the headlines and the articles said it had to be disheartening to the GOP which expected a much larger margin of winning.

Nothing new with the news, though; they try to put whatever pro-leftist spin on it they can.

And, there's been a plethora of stories about Texas turning blue. While I know the tide is turning - thanks to the Katrina refugee/freeloaders who stayed in Houston, the illegals getting false papers and driver's licenses and the economic refugees from Democrat states bringing their failed politics with them - I'm not convinced of that happening this next election cycle, but the leftist press is doing their best to convince TX voters that resistance to the change is futile.
