I used to participate in the now-defunct MSN Groups and met people from all over the world; one of my good Group pals was a woman from N.H., a long-time Democrat, and she wanted me to help her put the code for that Debt clock into a page so she could post it in her Group.

N/P, so I did. Then, after Obama had been President for a couple of years and the debt had more than doubled under HIS watch, I emailed her and asked her if she needed it updated. She didn't find it funny, but at least she admitted the rising debt under Obama was alarming, even more so than it was under Bush.<grin>

Anyway, she met a guy who is a conservative-leaning libertarian like me and they married and he convinced her that voting Dem was in NOBODY'S best interest, esp. that of the country.

Oh, and I don't think most javascripts are allowed, not in the forum nor in these blogs. I reckon Todd wants it that way, some might conflict with any he has running and/or they'd slow down the page or make it render weird.

I tried to use the marquee code once; it's a script that allows for scrolling text or images. I had an animation of a dog chasing a pot of gold that I had pasted "LOTTERY" on but never could get it to work.
