No more urinals! Portland bans them to protect gender-neutrality

September 26, 2019 |  Vivek Saxena |

So to make things gender-neutral, the most radically left-wing city in America has reportedly banned urinals from its most iconic building, the Portland Municipal Services Building.

Standing 15 stories high in downtown Portland, Oregon, the building is currently being remodeled, and part of the remodeling involves making its bathrooms gender-neutral.

And it just so happens that in a gender-neutral world, urinals simply cannot exist.

The City of Portland banned urinals in the remodeled Portland Building,” local station KGW  reported last week, adding that this means urinals must be banned “even in the men’s room.”

The only good news is that there will still reportedly be at least one set of standard bathrooms for normal people (i.e., the type who believe in biological science).

“We will continue to have gender-specific (male and female) multi-stall restrooms that are readily available to any employee that prefers to use one,” the city’s chief administrative officer, Tom Rinehart, reportedly wrote in an email to employees in February.

“But, there will be no urinals in any restroom in the building. This will give us the flexibility we need for any future changes in signage.”

Of course, no “future changes in signage” would be necessary if the  radically far-left city would simply stop catering to the minority of a minority of a minority that is so-called “transgender” Americans.

That is a good one. I walked into a mens room out of courisity and there were stalls but no urinals.

Men will need to do like they do at home. Raise the seat and piss standing up. If the seat is not raised people will need to sit on a pissy seat.

No urinals, piss in the sink. ROFLMAO.
They will be replacing the urinals real quick.
Some bathrooms have floor drains. That is an option.

I have a cousin whose husband is a minister in Portland - the last time I saw her I told her I admired their bravery, but questioned their good sense. "Into the lion's den..." she dryly replied.

What is Portland going to do w/ all those leftover urinal cakes? Feed them to the homeless?

I am sick of the MINORITY being treated like the MAJORITY.

Amen to that rcbbukeye! Now the majority could stand up and say, "Hell no, we're not doing that". But then we'd be called rascist, sexist, etc. or some other phobic, and everyone seems to be scared to death of that.

I'm all for gay rights, always have been, but now they they can get married, I don't understand why they think they need more rights than the rest of it. Their significant other can be insured, along w/ any children they have, it's the law.

What I'm tired of is catering to the transgenders, something like .03% of the population, if even that. I'm tired of them wanting us to accept their mental illness as normal and definitely am tired of being forced to pay for their gender reassignment surgery. Plus, have you ever seen the statistics of post-surgery suicides? It's a significant percentage of those who have transitioned. Like I said, they have mental issues, esp. if they got what they wanted and are still not happy and kill themselves.
