The Magic 8-Ball & Me

Published:

I saw one of those Magic 8-Ball toys the other day in a store; I hadn't seen one in a long time and thought they had been discontinued. On a lark, I picked it up and started asking it questions. Thank you! I'll be here all week. Drive safe on your way home and don't forget to tip your waitress!

Yeah, that's why I was surprised to see one for sale. They were more of a conversation piece, to set on a table or shelf for company to see, I think, because they didn't hold my attention for more than a minute or so.

I used to have a javascript for a digital Magic 8-Ball, but I dunno where it is. I was trying to find my "Ask the Blah-Blah Twins" script and page the other day and guess it's either on a turned off external drive or lost it in the last computer crash.
