I don't know why he told about that in a campaign speech...if that don't beat all!

Looks like his wife would tell him or someone close to him to stop talking about stuff
like that!...I didn't see where it fit in with anything else he said...he must be losing his mind!

Well, I've always had the impression he wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree, but figured that might be an act, a "folksy" one to endear him to his constituency....like W. Bush and his malapropisms.(although I now realize those weren't intended) Then, I listened to several speeches and interviews and decided he really wasn't all that bright.

That was when he was running for President, long before he became Obama's VP. When people would say Sarah Palin wasn't very smart, I'd just bring up Biden and say "Talk about a heartbeat away from the Presidency...." I never liked Obama, but always wanted him to keep good health.

What concerns me the most is how he rambles; now, that could merely be the sign of a disorganized mind instead of any mental deterioration, but it's still not a trait I want in a President.

Speaking of Sarah Palin...wasn't it her that said she could see Russia from her house?

Actually, the accurate quote was "You can see Russia from Alaska." which is true; there are the Diomede islands in the Bering Strait, separated by a little less than 2.5 miles. Little Diomede belongs to the U.S. and Russia owns Big Diomede

Yes, Todd Palin filed for divorce, but I think they're reconsidering. I'm not much on that type of celeb. reporting and you never know what's true or not.

Joe Biden has wet brain from years of soaking in ethanol. He is a stone cold alcoholic and his brain is clearly deteriorated. His presidential timber is sawdust, at best, pulp.

Tina Fey misquoted Palin; the actual quote was what I wrote. She just changed it to make her sound stupid.   I don't have a clue as to her /Palin's IQ is, but I'd be willing to bet it's double digits more than Biden's.

The instance where Palin was thought stupid was when she was asked what book she was reading or those she had recently read and she hesitated and couldn't answer. Maybe she doesn't read much; I know a lot of people who don't read much and they're intelligent. (It's been months since I last read a book, but I read every day online) Maybe the last thing she had read was 50 Shades of Gray or the latest S. King novel and didn't want to blurt that out. Maybe she was just taken aback and had a brain fart, couldn't think. Happens to all of us.

I'd like to know what Tina Fey has read lately; I'm sure it's nothing more substantial than some crappy script that was offered to her. Fey *might* be smarter than Palin, but Sarah is a much better person and much prettier than Scarface Fey.
