I subscribe to a great channel on YouTube: The History Guy. I always look forward to every post; some are much better than others, but they're all interesting and informative. One of his latest ones was about the B25 that crashed into the Empire State Building on July 28, 1945.

I had never seen anything more than minor spats in the comment section...until that one and it was because the 9/11 Truthers came crawling out from under their rocks. They all annoy me, but the worst are that Bush/Cheney and Halliburton masterminded the attacks "for the oil" and that they weren't planes, but missiles.

I don't want to rehash all that again, it would tick me off even if no one argued with me. Are there things that were kept secret by the govt.? I'd say yes, but I am positive Bush or any other Americans had anything to do with the attacks. The likelihood of some conspiracy being made public goes up exponentially with ea. and every person who knows the secret. (which means it would be nigh-impossible, esp if all the wild nutty theories were to have happened)

If there is any blame to be assigned, the bulk of it should go towards the intelligence agencies who not only were asleep at the wheel, but ignored warnings by some of their agents and some in the public .(like the owner of the flight school where the terrorists learned the basics of flying an airplane)

I was horrified by the events of 9/11 and dismayed that we could not see it coming, but I was literally enraged when I saw those people jumping to their deaths b/c their only other option was to be burned alive.

I am STILL enraged over it.

That's how angry I get with those Truthers. I despise them even ore than I do the terrorists b/c they are, for the most part, Americans and should know better. At least I can understand the terrorist's motives.

Having said that, when I was in DC, Mike, I could not believe that taxpayers are funding something like 18 separate intelligence agencies does any of them remember the shot across the bow when the brazen failed tower attack left dead & dying in it's wake? All these low pro spoke agencies are not answerable to congress, could all have been a sleep simultaneously - and how bouts taking over an hour to get one Air National Guard plane over the site - to be seen & photographed. Not up to snuff, a what, tell me that we can't do better.
