snake, snake, snake + bird of prey
Published:
I was out in the front yard yesterday doing some painting on wood trim I replaced that had wood rot. I done the painting of the small sections of wood trim replaced and walked over to the other end of the house and cleaned the brush with the garden hose. On my way back I got to where I was painting and looked over the car. There was a bird of prey on the lawn that had a small snake [6-7 inches maybe] captured in its claws. The bird looked up at me and dropped the snake and flew into the neighbors tree. I went on about my business and did not look back where the bird had the snake.
I picked up my work area and shut the garage door. Could be the bird of prey came back and reclaimed its meal for the day. Birds of prey need to eat too.
