In New York City, a harbinger of worst things to come, was the first sneak attack on the civilian World Trade Center by militant Arab Islamises , four extremists were convicted of the deadly 1993  bombings that killed 6 people , injured more than 1000 and did costly extensive property damage......

The Battle of the Alamo was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, overwhelming Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna brutally ordered 'take no prisoners' at the once Spanish Alamo Catholic Mission near San Anto at nio de Béxar, killing all the Texian and immigrants. The heroic defenders were considered as martyred victims thus the first genocide in North America,
