Were first reported were among U.S. Army solders stationed in Ft  Riley, Kansas: 46 would die.The world wide out break of influenza  claimed an incredible estimated 20-40 million lives :-(

many returning soldiers from America's Saving Europe crusade were arriving infected as a unfortunate bonus :-(

es, my father had that flu and survived. Doctor thought that it contributed to his Parkinsons in late life. He lived to 94.
