 HM British armed forces under General Allenby recaptures Jerusalem from ottoman Turks i.e. a Christian army under a Christian General defeats an Islamic occupying army under Turkish Sultan. thereby making the English monarchy titular head of Holy Land again since 15th Century Queen Sybilla 1 of Jerusalem and  medieval Templar Knights

Sibylla, Queen of Jerusalem
Sibylla was Queen of Jerusalem from 1186 to 1190. She reigned alongside her husband Guy of Lusignan, to whom she was unwaveringly attached despite his unpopularity among the barons of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. Sibylla was the eldest daughter of King Amalric and the only daughter of Agnes of Courtenay.

The Hero of Jerusalem is remembered by only Allenby Bridge which still operational.
The bold action made a huge contribution to the modern State of Isreal

For history officianados, little known ritual, when the late Queen Elizabeth 11 was Coronated, she was  in a secretly sworn ceremony given title of High Queen defender of the Faith and Queen of Jerusalem
