Living in denial

Published:

After watching "Lottery Diaries" on tv, I kind of got the idea that if you are going to win, you will win within the first one or two times of buying your tickets. Please tell me I am wrong on that one. Because this was a most depressing realization. How many winners from MM and PB have actually been regulars and people who played more than once or twice?Ponder

Because if I am right, we are all wasting our time here. Surrender

I don't know about that one. I've heard of many winners who won after playing many years.

Too many to remember off the cuff. One comes to mind of a garbage pickup guy who played 60 bucks a week for 10 years, and won 10 million. He said he was going to keep working because he only had 2 years left to get his retirement money.

Do you really believe every single person who's won, only played a couple of times?

Those shows with all the sob stories of lotto winners got their lives ruined by the $ cracks me up. Then why don't they send the rest of their $ to me! LOL

Once I read a press release in FL about a woman who never played in her life and had a dollar in her pocket. She won millions. However, many of the stories are about people who have played for 30 years. It's random. As far as "we are all wasting out time here" goes, that's a whole different story. Yes, we probably are. But it has nothing to do with the amount of years we've been playing. It's luck. But keep in mind if you never buy a ticket, you will never win either.

thank you all for your responses. I would like to read some stories about people who played for years before hitting it big. Someone other than Brad Duke. I know he played with the numbers before he finally hit it. But he sounds way smarter than me,so... can't really count him.
