Hopefully the high heat when cooked will kill the mrna proteins in the meat. Too bad the only way I like to eat my steak is medium rare, now I'm gonna have to cook it to death.

I'll go out on a limb and say, that I predict that in some M.I.T or Harvard torture labs, the white coats. will gather a group of their famous rats and force  feed them 100 % Scotch Whiskey and as they start dying off - kick off a campaign to prohibit Scotch sales (remember the 18th amendment ?  :-)

There's no reason to be giving it to animals.
