Benny Hill was a riot. It's too bad that some of the comments people wrote on the You Tube site are so bigoted and hateful. When he made fun of people, I don't think he wasn't using racism or hate. He made fun of everyone, including himself. There's a difference between slapstick and offensive humor and he was definitely the former.   He was certainly a strange bird and combined irreverance and hyperbolic comedy which only a nutty fruitcake like me could love.
