I lost my hard drive last week! Fortunately I had a Ghost image of it and was able to get back my regular computer just as it was in Feb 07. I am now waiting for a drive enclosure to put the broke one in it and possibly pull some more current stuff off of it; like all my lotterydata since Feb.! I hope it works whatever maybe wrong.

I use Partition Magic, Norton Ghost and OsLoader on a Win98SE old Pc, I have a more or less new WinXP Pc, but I never use it yet, so far the old Pc can do almost everything that I need it to do, as severely limited as it is, it is still almost good enough.
Win98SE is so easy to work with, I have several partitions and copies of Windows on the hard drive, it is a multi-boot set-up.
If one OS installation goes bad for whatever reason, I format that partition and copy a good partition right over it, takes only a few minutes to do, I don't even bother making Ghost images of the Win98SE installation as it is easier to just copy one partition right over another one.
But an image is a most have if your hard drive fails, that is a good idea.
Good luck.
