Biden May Blanket Pardon Those Who Targeted Trump and Those Who Weaponized Government

    January 11, 2025 | Sundance | 71 Comments

Joe Biden was asked yesterday if he would pardon anyone else.  He couched his response, “it depends on some of the language and expectations that Trump broadcasts in the last couple days here as to what he’s going to do,” Biden told reporters at the White House. “There’s still consideration of some folks, but no decision.”

Now, think carefully about that response to the question.  Biden handing out more pardons depends on what Donald Trump says he is going to do.

What exactly is the negotiating factor here?  If Trump says he will hold people accountable for the weaponization of government, then Biden will preemptively pardon them.  However, if President Trump does not say they will be held accountable, then no preemptive action is needed.

No where in that type of thought process is the weaponized targeting and behavior a factor, only whether they will be held accountable for it.  Put another way, the activity is admitted as corrupt, the decision now rests on whether they can avoid accountability for their corruption.

There will be more pardons.  It doesn’t matter what President Trump says or does not say.  Psychologically, they are admitting to the wrongdoing. The issue is now about how to avoid the consequences.  There will be more pardons; they are simply negotiating who gets them.

If Trump hadn't been re-elected there would be no pardons coming, because it would be business as usual. The pardons are telling everyone who the corrupt ones are/were.

The only way he can pardon anybody from treason is with the Senate approval.

There was no weaponization by the government.  That's Maga stupidity.  The man got away with crimes because he's billionaire and had an army of lawyers and $$. He was guilty period.  Get out the smelling salts magas.  It shows the filthy rich are above the law.

He won in court. Has great lawyers.  .
Defendants lose in court because of low defense budget, inexperienced lawyers or court assigned lawyers. More than one innocent defendant has been sent to prison because of that fact. Sometimes face fabricated evidence, false testimony etc.

He didnt win in court the judges failed like a cheap suit. The delay tactics worked. He's still guilty as hell and you know  it. The smug attitudes doesn't hold water.

What delay tactics? You mean like Hunter's case where they delayed it long enough (5 years) for the statue of limitations to run out so the charges could be dropped? Or how about Joe saying he would not pardon him, and then giving him a pardon going back 11 years and also covering any crimes he might commit in the future. But no ones above the law, isn't that what you always say.

Playing dumb again?  Pay off everyone in sight.   And still a felon. The Republicans smell his stench. Now  we get to watch the Trump circus.

There an old a saying if you can't do the time don't do the crime.  Your hero is lucky$$$ that he's not doing serious times for his crimes.  Now we are going to have instead of the commander in chief it will be the felon in chief.
