There are not enough manufacturing jobs in the US to employ the homeless & those living at poverty level.
Many foreign manufacturers have a lower cost of living and a lower wage level than the US. So we end up with US based companies & retailers importing foreign products.
Hard for the US to compete in manufacturing our own products when the cost of living and wages are higher than most other nations.
So we end up imposing tariffs to balance the playing field.

Electric motors and electronics is a huge import to the US.
Those items could be a major manufacturing employer in the US.
It is all about profits for those selling these products.
At least we have lawns to mow for a buck and crops to pick.

Great article! Since it's been a one way street with other nations imposing tariffs on our goods imported into their countries, the imposition of tariffs on their goods can provide us a negotiating tool for a more fair trade balance. I posted a video to that effect.

Yes, tariffs are hated by most, but they are a great leveling tool and it's really quite simple even the left can understand this!
