Leaf clenup update.

Finished front yard today.

Cordless leaf blower is working great. Blows the leaves at CAT 5 at max speed.

After I dump the leaves in the bag using the broom rake then I take a leaf plunger I made. Took a square board and nailed a piece of scrap plywood about 8 inches square on the end. cut the sharp corners off of the plywood. Also rounded the corners where my hand goes.

Got 14 bags out for pickup this week.

Put leaves in bag, plunge, plunge, plunge.

Probably wait until after the first of year to do back yard. Was thinking maybe just let the back yard return to a wild enviroment.

Congratulations on your cordless leaf blower! I've seen articles suggesting letting leaves remain unmoved to overwinter. Said it allows lightning bugs and others to hatch which might be a good excuse to let them remain.  🦋🪲🐞

I have gas and electric, the electric also vacuums and chops the leaves down, and is easy to put them in paper lawn bags. It is made by Worx, great for the driveway.
