i got to my favorite little store on the texas louisian border to check my tickets. every last one was a dud. man that is a lot of money for having no winners at all. i was hoping between megamillion and the texas lotto i would win at least a 3 dollar prize. butkus zero nada not a frikken thing. the guy kept saying "oh this one will be a winner".

i got two more tickets. 1 mega for 10 drawings and the megaplay. 1 10 drawing texas lotto for 10 drawing.

i went to lake charles louisiana to go to a casino to eat at the spaghetti bar at the isle of capri casino. ooh la la. i just love that spaghetti bar. they didn't get one penny of my money because my gambling is for the lottery not some riverboat casino.

i wanted to find a little store to make my purchase. i was driving through town and found this little store with things stuck in every nook and cranny for sale. i saw some peanut butter kitt candy. i really wanted to get them but i didn't. some african guy owned the store and we talked as i made my purchase. 1 powerball 20 drawing ticket plus the multiplier. he gave me words of encouragement about playing powerball. i smiled because that is what i hear all the time when i spend my money.

well after buying the ticket i drove as far as i could into the black bayou south of lake charles. i got to see a couple of barges crossing the road. i had to wait until they went through and them to close the poontoon bridge. amazing to be driving and there be about a foot of land on both sides of the road. the water came that far up to the roadway. i wouldn't want to be out there when it rains. whew.

no more side trips to different states for awhile. just home for the next three trips. the next lotto i purchase will be the califorina lottery.
