National Geographic is going to the dogs...

Published:

Dogtown that is, at Best Friends (www.bestfriends.org) where they are filming a new series airing apparently on January 4th that is focusing on Dogtown.

This is where the MV Pits are going and where dozens of dogs are being cared for every day.

According to BF, NG has filmed 3 episodes and if the public response is positive, they will keep going.

This is wonderful news for the animals who can only benefit from the exposure.

I watched the video. Wow - 33,000 acres. Beautiful part of this country too. Too bad NG channel isn't part of the basic cable lineup. I don't get HBO or any extras, but it would be nice if they could broadcast the show on Discovery or Animal Planet. (I'd rather donate the extra $10 or $20) I think when AP aired The Little Zoo that Could after the hurricanes, they really benefited a lot so I hope the response is positive. Thanks for sharing.
