Don't they? I guess that's why grandparents spoil the grandchildren so bad. I know if one of mine had one right now, I would be trying to spoil it every chance I get.

I remember my dad making the comment "feels just like having the kids back home, doesn't, mommy?" to my mother when they were watching my girls one time. I always thought him to be a harsh man until I realized he truly missed having us around him that day.

My parents were the same way, Spy. I don't have children, but my sister does and they would treat the grandchildren so differently. That's why I tell people to make sure they tell their kids how much they love them and how special they are when they're young. For some reason, many parents feel it spoils them or makes them weak, or they just don't realize it until it's too late, so they wait for grandchildren to come along I guess. Have a happy day! My son hates b.day cake justxploring.I know it's unusual but hey that's fine with me.He is having pizza instead!
