Gas went up 2¢/gal in Venezuela since about a year ago!
As the most resourceful country on Earth with the world's largest economy, the USA should remain on or near the bottom of the list.
I am not proud that "there are some countries with higher prices!" Rather, I am ashamed of the faillures in Congress who have allowed our country to compete for the world's highest prices with their inaction and pathetic agenda-driven global warming religion.
Many liberals *want* the USA to be high on that list, as a way to "punish" their country for having an oil-driven economy. That's why Obama made the comment that he was not upset about the high price, just that it happened so quickly. Absolutely pathetic! (Or did he flip-flop on that comment too, and wants us to forget he said it?)
