don't forget to add http://www.giveawayoftheday.com. There, they give limited time FREE downloads and activation codes for some top PAYWARE programs, making them fully functioning.

What's that old saying? "The best things in life are free"
Best Browser? FireFox = Freeware.
Best picture viewer? IrfanView = Freeware.
Best pick 3 filtered wheeler? FreeWheeler Pick 3 = Freeware.
Best Media Players? Media Player Classic, VLC and some others = Freeware.
Best Junk Cleaner? CCleaner, Easy Cleaner, HDValet, CleanUp! and others = Freeware.
And so many other Freeware Programs.

True. I've found some very helpful free downloads over the years. You mentioned Firefox & I also have Safari and Opera.   One of these days, I guess I should uninstall Netscape. :-)   I use Open Office for my powerpoint presentations and it's very compatible with MS Office and saved me a lot of money. I also use AVG free for virus protection. Speaking of Media Players, QT is free too.

Hi, great post. I downloaded a "free" error remover/repairer called ErrorSmart. It's only free to show me how many errors I have. To remove them it's $20 on my credit card. This made me mad so I tried to remove it and it won't budge! Whatcha think of that? LOL Also, do you know of a good FREE error remover and/or a free "program that won't remove remover"?

It might be "Apple Quick Time" media player.
