Here's some pictures of that new lotto selector thingamajig... + other things

That 1st one just shows the item.  The 2nd one shows it after 12 nmbers have been drawn.  I have a YouTube video of the thing in action here.  I do welcome comments (here on LP as I've disabled comments on YouTube for that video) on how I can possibly get the stuff to show up better (what could I do lighting wise....like turn off my monitor, my bedroom light, etc. or any other suggestion).

Now that I've realized the video capabilities of my digital camera........that might open the door up for some new stuff. Wink

Later on, I'll post some details on my proposed 5/60 blog challenge (which would be a must-match-all-5 game.......fewer balls it takes you to match all 5, the more you win -- few as 5 balls and as many as 12 balls to match all 5).

Update:  The darn thing has decided to quit working on me (thing that turns the plastic cage refuses to turn, despite holding down the buttons and the motor running). Unhappy  Gears or whatever may have messed up or something.  Plus, I've been tinkering around with my game idea and it isn't working out (I've been doing "test runs" of the game idea and decided it's too hard to match all 5.....but I do get close by adding a 13th number).  Back to the ol' drawing board (and in need of a small screwdriver so I can unscrew the thing, open the case, and have a look to see if anything can be done to fix the bloody thing).

Until next time, may you hit all 5 numbers in your pick 5 game. Smile

Just saw your video. That's exactly like the one I was given about 13 years ago.... lots of fun playing with it. Your mom has a sharp eye .... not sure if they're made anymore.

cool looking machine. Where did you find it?

Reddog, my mom found it at a Goodwill store. She was shopping while I was playing scratcher tickets at a nearby tobacco mart.

That was a good find. I remember the days my son and I would go to the Goodwill store every Saturday morning. You will surprised what "treasures " you can find there.

It is probably fun to play with - but you know the balls are not accurate to the micro-gram like real lottery balls. So it wouldn't really give you the same "type" of results.

I imagine that you will eventually see a bias on the numbers drawn by it.

Very valid point about the balls and stuff truecritic. I've noticed some "imperfections" in the balls myself.....mostly because they were attached to plastic thingamajigs and you had to twist the balls off of those. Yeah, I could imagine a possible bias to the drawn numbers.....but it's better than shelling out 4 digits for a used bingo blower and balls and stuff just to have some fun and whatever. ;-)
