Well, gold is certainly lucky indeed...

Yesterday, I bought some of these and hit a gold bar symbol (I'll talk about that ticket in Friday's KACHING Report).  Today, I buy some, got a gold bar, and hit that monster.  Time to update the "best in category" list again.....

$20:  $100 ($50 + $20 + 3 x $10) on GA Lottery 15th Anniversary Millionaire Extravaganza -- July 2008

$10:  3 $100 winners (1st and 3rd via 5 x $10 + 10 x $5 w/firecracker and 2nd via 4 x Bill $5) on Cash Explosion -- 1st and 2nd in Feb. 2008, 3rd in May 2008

$5:  $60 (15 x $4 w/truck) on $250,000 Cash -- May 2008

$3:  $45 (Double Bill $15 + $9 + $6) on Strike It Rich 2009 -- December 2008 $72 (12 x $6 w/gold bar) on Lucky Gold -- Feb. 2009

$2:  $125 ($100 + $20 + $5) on Loteria -- Jan. 2009

$1:  $100 (Jumbo $20) on Junior Jumbo Bucks -- April 2005

$0.50:  $40 (381 box) on Cash 3 -- October 2008

This is a very welcome change compared to my luck on Saturday.

Until next time, may you hit lucky gold and win a bunch of dough. Smile

Hey buddy, just curious. When you go "slow playing", how much do you use (normally) for your initial purchase? I realize that a lot of your winnings each day get re-invested in more tickets. Knowing your starting investment each day puts things even more into perspective.

Shawn, I usually have $40 to spend (sometimes more -- depends on a few things). Spending it all depends on how much time I have (most times I play them so slow that it's time to go before I blow it all). Sometimes I hit a $30 or greater winner after a few minutes and decide to stop playing. I just buy 1 ticket at a time until I hit a cash winner before switching to another kind.

This ticket wasn't slow playing, though.....just to be clear. It's just buying a few before I go into work (and the place I bought this ticket isn't very far....you can see it standing outside of the building). Unless it's at the tobacco mart around 11 or 12 noon on a day I have to work, I don't slow play before going into work. Usually, I allow myself about 10 minutes before work (and I usually get to work about 15 minutes early anyway even after playing tickets) to stop by and grab some tickets (providing that I have sufficient funds to play with.....min. $10), scratch them off, go in and cash in lowball winners, and scratch them off. I don't buy one at a time like with slow playing (although I'll scratch them off like slow playing unless it's almost time to go....then I'll just get to the nitty gritty and see if I won anything.)

Thanks. That puts it all in perspective. You've got some incredible luck on scratchers pal. Keep it up.
