Who To Believe?

Published:

I always say that I do my predictions by history.  But this has been bugging me for more than a year, every time I come to July its the same thing, which number is correct in the history that I got from the Official Pennsylvania Web Site?

I looked it up on Lottery Post, and for 7/30 I have 922, but for 7/22 I have a completely different set of numbers.  Why is this the case with the PA Lottery Site?  I contacted them last year about this error and they never corrected it.

What is YOUR opinion on this ''mistake''???

The best thing to do if you find a discrepancy is to report it to me so I can check it out and fix any problems that may exist. If I did not happen to see this post then your research into it would not have fixed any problems (if they exist). If there's a mistake, I'm not sure one could even have an opinion. It's either a mistake or not.

When you see 2 drawings on the same date, that means there was a double-draw promotion of some type. If you check the results for Wisconsin Pick 3 this month you will see a similar thing. Both results are entered into the database for completeness. If you happen to notice that a state lottery has 2 draws listed for a date, and Lottery Post only shows one of the drawings, use the Lottery Results Correction Form on the Contact Us page to let me know the game and draw date, and I will make sure it gets updated.

This abnormality didn't show up until the PA Lottery "Improved" the website Todd. So I went with what you have on Lottery Posts, think you would have more accurate information than the State.

Lets not go there about the Government! ROFL!!!

Thank you for the vote of confidence! During that period of time (2004) I was still relying on another company for a lottery results feed, and I was less-than-pleased with the overall quality and consistency of data. I believe it was in 2005 when I finished creating Lottery Post's own proprietary lottery results data feed, and the quality at that point increased dramatically.

Since then, I have gone through massive efforts not only to clean up all the past data, but also to incorporate *all* of the drawing history from the states. Occasionally I still find little glitches here and there, but they have become few and far between. I am always grateful to anyone who reports errors, as each error fix bring us closer to perfection.

Also, there are still a few games out there that I need to verify that all the data is loaded, but for the most part they all go back to the 1990s at least. So if you notice any games that have less than the complete drawing history, please point them out to me, and I'll make it a priority.

Thanks!!
