Chile and beer barbeque sauce

Ingredients:
1 cup beer
1 cup tomato juice
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
5-6 cloves garlic, minced
2 green chile peppers, seeded and chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
In a medium skillet, add olive oil and garlic. Cook until slightly brown. Add in the onions and chili peppers and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Place remaining ingredients into skillet, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat. Allow mixture to cool completely before you puree in blender.
