Going to an asteroid is a sensible space project. One of these days a big one will be heading right towards us and it would be nice to have some technology in place that could divert its trajectory.

i think Obama should do both. we can learn so much from going back to the moon. i am still happy that he did add to the budget to the space program. we need to send more men and women to space.
