you are so right Louise , alot of people in Michigan get sent to prison for up to 15 years for dog fighting , poor Michael Vick who fought dogs then took his gun and shot wounded animals and buried them in his yard only got 23 months.

Sully16, the laws in Georgia are different from the laws in Michigan. Hence the difference in sentencing. Also, Vick threw for three touchdowns in a single game. Has any professional quarterback in Michigan done that?

Good point gasmeterguy, so what your saying is what some people perceive to be unfair and unjust is just a matter of different state laws. and as far as football...ooooh ouch. ya not much into football.

I agree with you 100% Louise. That rich guy OJ should have gotten the death penalty for murder but because he was so rich and famous he got away with it. At least we can feel safe now knowing he's in jail for another assault and not out cutting peoples' heads off again.

I agree with you on Michael Vick too. He should have gotten life without parole for what he did to those poor dogs. If I was the judge he would have gotten the death penalty if possible. I'm glad we feel the same about that.

I am not an animal hater but, I will let a thousand dog go for a human life . I am sorry but human   trumps animals. I do remember a similar case where a wife with a young baby was murder and he was found not guilty . I think He use to play Barreta, Robert Blake a rich and famous man.          Nobody is hounding him,   Oh! I wonder why? A penny for your expression.

heres my penny...Robert Blake is a piece of crap, he deserves whatever our good Lord finally gives him. Those 2 teenagers in Mich. that got 15 years for dogfighting , didn't kill or bury the dogs. and they were both black Louise, sorry but, I think 15 years is a little harsh, and Vick most certainly got off easy because he's rich.
