The Volcanic Eruption Preceded the Earthquake

We had one of those strange dreams again this morning. It was in some western state like Washington or Oregon; maybe Alaska, someplace west with a lot of tall trees. We had gone there to finish the closing on a home we purchased on a mountain side.

We arrive at the home and were looking around the outside property. The home was a log cabin style, two levels with an upper patio/deck overlooking the other side of the mountain. However, the mountain wasn’t just a mountain; it was in fact a volcano. Exactly what volcano, we’re not sure. The home was in a fairly well forested area, so it was not obvious that a volcano was there, until we went to the edge of the wood.

There at the edge of the wood was a cliff that was right at the mouth of the volcano. We could see inside and all that was going on. We could see that some plumes of smoke and ash were starting to vent out of the center. We went back to the home and started talking about what we would do if the volcano erupted.

In mid conversation, a loud boom came form the edge of the wood we were standing at. Large rocks and boulders were being launched in the air with massive explosions; deafening beyond all compare.

This is the moment of self consciousness. I told Ann and the boys to leave. Just get in the car and GO! They had left and I stayed to watch. The eruption became more violent; I could see large billowing clouds of ash and smoke. In the clouds could be seen a large fountain of red and orange lava flowing.

I was still standing by the house and seeing these works of nature through the trees. It was an eerie, helpless feeling watching and knowing that the gigantic flows of lava and ash that even dwarfed the trees would get even bigger. I then decided to leave, but there was no car.

I began walking, and then running away following the road we had traveled. As I was running, someone drove up from behind and stopped by me to ask if I wanted a ride. I said, “Yes!!” He didn’t give a name, but at that time it didn’t really matter. We finally got far enough away to see the whole volcano. It was a sight like nothing I could equate to. I felt like an insect about ready to be squashed. Eventually, we made it far enough away that we felt reasonably safe.

We had stopped near the ocean by a highway; there I called Ann on my cell to see where she was, but no answer. I began thinking the worst, what if… I kept trying. As I was dialing, the man with me said, “We knew this was going to happen?” “We”, I said. “Yes, we did. You already know we.” he replied. I knew exactly what he meant.

He began telling me a tale, “It’s been a long time since we had a very large earthquake here. This volcano erupting is the first sign. Look over there, another volcano makes its’ self known. And over there another mountain comes alive. It’s the sign of things to come.”

I could see small areas on the horizon where little plumes of smoke and flying rock were coming up from the ground. I asked him how he knew the next earthquake was coming. He told me, “See the ocean and the land? There along the land you can see how the land has become buckled and bowed. The pressure is building and needs to be released. The volcanoes are reacting to the buckling and bowing. Soon there will be a massive land move. Our mother is telling us the story right before our eyes.”

I finally got through to Ann and the boys. They were safe and in a town not to far from where I was. The man and I left and started traveling to where Ann was. This was the more unusual moments. We had a conversation with out talking. It was like both our thoughts were as one. Everything he knew and I knew were intermingled; like the sky and the sun, the air and the clouds, the water and the rain.

When we arrived in the town Ann was at, I knew, I knew the events to come and I did not fear anymore. The feeling of great joy filled me. I waved good bye and turned to Ann. I said, “Are you ready for the coming of the One?” She knew me as well and she said with great resolve, “You are the One.” Our eyes remained fixed and my boys came to here side and said, “Yeah Dad, you are the One.”

It was then the ground began to shake. I grabbed their hands and they grabbed each others hands. “Let’s go”, I said. The moment before the catastrophic wave hit, we took flight above the devastation. The scene faded to reality… I was awake.
