Why Del & W.V. senate elections are important this year

I had forgotten these two elections were special elections. 
I have not seen any discussion on this in print or tv. Unless I missed it prior to taking note of it on Christines website last night.
Those two elections are special elections and the winner will be sworn in when the election results become certified. Just after Nov 2.
There are plans for the lame duck session for 20 bills to be cobbed to the public. The results of those two elections could have an influence on the outcome of these bills.

Seems as though it is needed to step back and remake the U.S.A. like our founders did in the beginning. Gov't has expanded to far beyond what the constitution and the bill of rights specify.
