What would happen if...

Published:

...a new volcano emerged in the middle of the US?

I've had this thought running in my head for a long time now and have had several dreams about it years ago.

It's strange because there's no real big warning when this happens; some little signs though.

I'll keep thinking about it; till it happens.

We think it may be more closer to the Mississippi River area.

Holy carp! The recent earthquake swarm by Guy, Arkansas may be the volcano in question. Back around 1850 (?) it was chronicled that the top of a mountain in that area was hot (so hot that the trees caught on fire), smoking and steaming. It has been speculated that it was once an active volcano. That magma chamber is probably what triggers the hot springs (as in Hot Springs, AR).

For the last few months Guy, AR has been registering 30-60 quakes per week.

It's getting closer then. I'd watch those earthquakes a little closer. They may be a sign from below.

The recent sudden release of Oil in the Gulf may have something to do with it. As we have said before in Our blog, the North American Continent may be affected by the sudden loss of oil. The Continent has shifted ever so sightly. If not a volcanic eruption, then a Massive Earthquake in the Central US.

True that. The fault system runs between the Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes. Edgar Cayce predicted the two would be joined one day and the country divided in half. The emptying of the oil chamber under the Gulf could be adding stress to this system.
