Last year during this same period from 2010-01-01 to 2010-04-12 the price of gas doubles, on average, based on nation wide regular gas, once every 1071 days.

Now, during this time frame from 2011-01-01 to 2011-04-11 the price of gas will double base on current data for national regular average in 303 days.

This means by early Feb next year, we could see gas prices of around $7.50 based on the current average of $3.743 now.
